Creativity is nothing more than an artist's manifesto, his attitude towards the world and life. When I paint, I create an illusory world of symbols and meanings. Each painting is a comment on a specific situation that made me reach for a brush and canvas, hence its autobiographical character. The world of my paintings is parallel to the world that surrounds us. Drawing inspiration from nature, I bring to life something totally new, unknown, mysterious, something that cannot be described and verbalized. Painting is a subconscious reflection of my aesthetic, mental, formal, and emotional experiences, and God knows what else?

When I paint I try to give new meanings to phenomena and concepts, to discover their deeper metaphysical sense, to find an appropriate form for ideas and content. Paintings become independent entities, proving the existence of another world of forms detached from the physical world, creating new categories of perception and understanding of nature. Painting is an attempt to name and visualize something that I feel intuitively, what sometimes appears real in my mind. It is an attempt to harmonise the external with the internal, the material world with the spiritual one.

A painting is an extension of thoughts, a stoppage of a moment, a piece of paper from a diary in which I write down certain situations and events, people and places, trying to stop time and memories so that they do not escape from my mind. Art makes life richer, teaches humility, tolerance, gives freedom and independence, and the ability to communicate with others. It forces us to constantly search and reflect on the sense and purpose of life, it is, existentially speaking, a manifestation of humanism. For me painting is an attempt to find one's own place and to preserve one's dignity.
